Does anyone use the rockets or royal oaks? How do they compare to the triangles? I like triangles and have been using layered tips lately but I'm thinking of having a single layer on some of my shafts.

Never heard of Rockets, but I've put Royal Oaks on a good bit of house cues.
 
The Royal Oaks that I have used were very much softer than Triangles. They also did not hold their shape as well after burnishing.
