twice as good

I think theres a player I'm 'twice as good as'. We played six matches, race to 8 or 9 and I've won four and he, two. Yet I've won forty games to his thirty seven. So there must be key games to win that I'm getting and he's not.
But if you assume you're twice as good as someone do you expect to win twice as many games as them, or more or you think you'll win every match. With pool being random, maybe things level out. When lady luck smiles on the other, as it can for a match when the rolls are going the other way for you, there goes a match. When I say 'twice as good' I'm referring to skill level. Not twice as young or that I win twice as much cash as him.

IMO, if your twice as good as an opponent in skill level then you will win every race as long as its not an extremely short race like to 3 or 4.

the other player should never win a game

If you get a single shot in a game other than the break or a true lock-up safety the other player should never win a game, much less a set if you are twice as good. If you finish the night at, or your scores to date are, 37-40 games he can beat you on a given day.

Pool is a game of domination, if you play someone twice as good as you are, you should get the f-ing heck kicked out of you so badly that you'll quit so you can get some shooting in. Even in short races (as long as you keep racing a number of them).

It's often about the money but if I am fifteen percent better than someone they will rarely if ever see any cash I don't want to give them. If I'm twice as good they will never see any cash I don't want to give them while thinking if the rolls were just a little bit different they could have won.

Theres two things. Either my perception of being 'twice as good' is right or wrong. If its right and I'm not winning every match then either I play below ability when playing lesser player or I take more risk which became too much risk and paid for it. If I'm not twice as good but think I am, then theres other factors about his game that I'm not aware of. But the thing is, I think I am twice as skillful but its not translating on the table and I don't know why other allowing for the fact if I think I'm better I play faster and looser.
But then he asked last night if I would play him for a hundred or fifty so thats the set up.
