Twist Bank

Joe, the gentleman that taught me to bank 30 years ago called a twist bank the action of twisting your wrist as part of the follow through stroke. This action will induce unquie action / spin on the cue ball that is very hard to duplicate any other way.
I think this is one of those "old-timers" things that probably should not have been passed down, IMO. For more info, see:
