Hey, do you know if 9 ball will be on the spot like last year?
That's all up to Barry, seems every year he does something a little different.

By the way, there's a nice article on Barry and his "issues" in Billiards Digest. Very open & honest. Enjoy.!

That was intresting,,, I remember Sardo offered $500.00 for anyone who will make 9 on the break on TV table. I think couple of guys made it...Efren and someone else, I'm not sure who it was.

It was Mika Immonen who made the 9 on the break during a Televised match vs Johnny Archer at the Us Open, they laid out 5 crisp one hundred dollar bills for him on the table, I remember him having a big smile on his face when he picked them up. :D

Calling all US Open Nine Ball gurus, I have a question.

For how many years has the men's US Open Nine ball championships been held in Chesapeake? Where was it before that and for how many years? And before that? And before that? Well, you get the picture.

I know that much:
The Chesapeake Conference Center will be hosting the 2004 U.S.Open 9-Ball Championships. The U.S.Open has been at this location since 1997.

This is the 28th year, the first ones were at QMasters then Holiday Inn conference hall, then the city built the convention center and they moved it there.

There were some scattered tournaments 30+ years ago that Barry promoted that some consider part of the US Open history.
