today in pool i have come up with the best two new types of bridges for use in pool the one is the palm bridge that is the whole hand laid over the shaft of the cue and the other one is underhand this one is done with your hand laid upside down with the palm of the hand facing up and i beat my opponnet useing both :) thanks would like have some reps for this one

Wow so you cup the shaft? I cannot wait to get home and try this method out. I have a big match this evening and you have just sealed the deal for me! THANKS Travis!

Travis, have you not read the latest in bridging. From what I understand the ring finger should be under the shaft with the middle finger pressed firmly against one side while the thumb is tightly held against the opposing side. In all instance the little finger must point to a corner pocket and you will always get a 30 degree cut shot to the pocket behind you on your left.

Hope that helps.

Oh - that first, index or pointing finger should be held vertical at all times.

This guy is an idiot for this mediocre attempt at humor. You shouldn't be using dirty jokes to respond to someone who is making a simple post in a pool-related forum. I'm getting sick of that type of Jewish humor, it's old. As far as Travis' advice on new bridges, I think Travis is trippin. Wimpy Lassiter had a bridge he used like that when he shot with his opposite hand, so it's not new, and could be effective, though there are better bridges if you have a fundamental view of pool. I think your odds are better if you dont use a CueTech Cue, and you switch to the silky feel of a Minnesota Fats.
