Thanks your comments. I like a little sparring fun myself, from time to time,
but based on relevent and meaningful issues. This guy just seems to be
contentious for no other reason than to throw off the direction of a particular thread. He should take the time, start his own thread and so be it, but don't de value mine with childish little barbs with no relevence to my subject matter. Go ahead & speak your mind about my posted item, but don't come with this 'get a room' crap, because I may a nice comment to a fellow member.

I guess I'd agree with you if by staying on topic you mean the only thing we can do here is kiss each others ass. What have we learned from you telling bill how great he is and how great the cues are. I guess since I don't do that after every one of my pals posts I am adding nothing to the group. I don't want you to leave I just want you to know I get the fact that you love Bill, I get you guys are friends, I really don't need to see it after every one of his posts. I guess I should apologize and beg you not to leave, I mean if you aren't here to be nice to Bill who will, and then the whole group loses out;-)

Yeah i've known Simon for a good 4 years now and i've had some quality cues from him myself. I used to play pool with him regularly but have taken a break from 9ball to concentrate on snooker and english 8ball. He won't steer you wrong on a good cue!

Your point is duly noted concerning the perceived boring nature some of my replies. I will endeavor to work on that.

Regarding 'kiss ass'. Jim, I have seen you stereoptype many of us members with that label. I would like you to take just a moment, and think about this concept. I have enjoyed many of your posts, and have gotten a kick out of them. You are to be commended for your debate skills, and I appreciate your mind set. The fact is, my personality is different from yours. My nature is genuine, but you view that as kiss ass. I think that if you respect others,
and even if you view as timid or 'K.A.', understand, that it is their nature, as they understand that your more abrasive approach is your nature, but still respect and absorb the points that you and they, are making.

I do agree with you Jim, in that these forums would sure be 'boring' if they were nothing more than back & forth 'feel goods' between members. In some ways I wish I did have some of the Jimbo aggressiveness, cause it makes for fun viewing...

I will work toward 'lightening up' and hopefully you can work on respecting
the disposition of others.......but don't view ones disposition as an inability to debate. Try me on something meaningful, not something insignificant like..

let me say this.. GET SOME CUES MAN, and post em, then you'd be legit..
you see, we're a bunch of cue addicts in this forum, and we understand that mind set, and know the time, work & energy involved in acquiring and staying atop of those collections! If you don't buy, trade cues, how can you possibly contribute to this forum?? (how'd I do??). Kind Regards, Brett

Both cues are veeery nice looking! I really like the one with the butterfly splices. I would shoot with either anyday.

Thx... you know when Si first turned me on to them, I was a bit hesitant because they were so far off the cosmetic chart, in terms of what I was used to. I agreed cause it was certainly different and he assured me that I would really like the feel & playability. You shoud also understand that I play with some of the best playing cues, from the top makers in the world, and Si knows that, so for him to make that statement was going out on a limb.
In fact, if you felt one in hand, and ran off a few racks, you'd understand
what makes them a super cue, and at the right price. Thanks again your
