I was looking for another hobby so I wasn't playing pool everyday and I feel better for it and don't really miss it much. I was going to get back into Greyhound racing again. When I sold my Greyhound business 11 years ago I saw the writing on the wall and got a great price for it. With all the state lotteries, casinos, no young people coming to the tracks to bet and of coarse PETA. PETA is a love/hare thing with me. Although they did help stop the over breeding and putting the pups and dogs down that were finished as racers and pups that couldn't make a track...which was really needed, they made the whole Greyhound industry look bad. There were a few bad apple breeders and kennel operators that gave the whole industry a bad name. 95% of them were good. They did clean up the industry, but killed all the tracks as well.
Most of my old contacts, the breeders, kennel operators, and trainers I use to deal with are dead or out of the business and most of the tax loopholes have been closed. So I went back to online betting them. My tech friend set up my office again with two computers and two monitors, with a big screen on the wall. I bet between 100 and 150 races a day and watch most of the races I bet. Iam $1360 to the good the first 6 days. It's fun now but I know it will get like a job soon and I'll be uncovering the table again. Johnnyt
