U.S. OPEN 2026, Frisco, Texas, August 25-30

American pool and all the voices (except Scott) are British voices. Same as the MC. And this is the U.S. Open in Texas! You would think that an American might do some of the interviews and introductions. Just like new ball colors Matchroom is transforming our game into theirs!
yea those euro accents and slogans get old to me and i have to turn it off

scott frost and jj are the worst at calling the balls by the colors- the red three, the purple five, the blue two (that isn’t-this year- really blue)

can we compromise and at the very least and stop saying

in-off

when we are playing pool in u. s.

How are they doing the draw?

How did two Finns end up playing against each other?
Winner side plays vs loser side. Normally If one player played vs someone in winners qualification, they cant be drawn again in 1st round of last 64.

PS. 4 Finn entered tourney and still 3 on last 64 and one is 100% sure to get on last 32...

yeah..... billy vs alex on the main tv table.. i get it, US open has more american players on tv table, but these two are real longshots for the title. and there are much more interesting matches going on..

Here's a much less wordy analysis of the draw

FINAL DRAW VERDICT
• Strongest overall: Quadrant 1
• Best route for an elite favorite: Filler in Quadrant 2
• Most consequential: The Gorst/SVB and American-heavy Quadrant 3
• Weakest on paper but most volatile: Quadrant 4
Out of bracket 4, I would love to see Jesus Atencio make it to at least the top 4.

Here’s another view of the final 64 draw. The quadrants with their world ranking, FargoRate, and their event-specific rating (what FargoRate speed they’ve been playing at this US Open Only)
