OK guys, I just got done checking out the $89 standard king rooms that are still available and boy do they look nice! So I'm looking for 7 others to share a room with me and my friend. With that set up it's only gonna be like $10 A MAN PER NIGHT!!!! ( Plus taxes of course but it shouldn't be too bad at all! ) So everyone interested please post up and let me know OR PM me. good luck with that - i'll tell KK9 and his 9 boys who were screwed that you're on it, Jay, cause i haven't heard back from Barry nor Roberta since Barry & i had numerous lengthy conversations 6 months ago. as well, i guess you missed the other 20+/- AZBers who posted repeatedly for 9 months of same.

I don't think KK9 wasn't even at the tournament last year, not sure about his friends since I don't know them.

Easy to see who paid for seats.

If seats were denied, then the buyers were basically robbed.

Comping doesn't make up for armed robbery (armed with doubletalk last year)

your "high-roller" friends are gonna need to get their own rooms. limit is 4/room occupancy, and the walls are thin so security is active.

valet parking is $24/day + taxes ($26). or you can self park next door @ $8-$12/day. or you can park free 2.5 blocks away if there's a space.

construction is on the tunnel & freeway. they are also throwing up a new hotel. traffic is redirected.

Only $10 + tax to share a room with 8 more pool players, gambling hi-lifers (or lo-lifers) and/or pool fans?

If I were going there, I surely would buy me a share. Course, I might have to flip it, being overflowing with the milk of human kindness and knowing lots of folks downtown could use a room with a bath for a night.

I'd just rent out my room key, say an hour for a dollar or a sack of empty cans. I might even get a replacement key or two so as to keep families and bands of Gypsies together, socially conscious fellow that I am.

I anticipate perhaps 50%, or more, profit on my $10 + tax investment.

There's been 2 in each bed (x 2 beds) 2 on the floor, one in a roll away, one on a couch, and one in the bathtub. You couldn't even walk in the room. Let alone how did the guy who got the bathtub gig get any sleep with all these other people taking a dump 1 foot from where he was at.
