UK Open 2026, London, May 26-31

I'd be shocked if Dohr won. Race to 10, Filler just needed to get to the table.

I like the new balls in an odd sort of way. I can distinguish all the balls on the table easier than ever.

Tyler and Lukas pick up 2,000 Mosconi points apiece for getting to the final 32. Win the next round and instead earn 4,000 points. Lukas has a tough one vs Alcaide. Styer plays Kazakis.

As things now stand,

Homann: 20,550
Fracasso-Verner: 18,000
Styer: 10,020
Gorst: 8,370
Wodward: 6,400

I think we're heading to a Yapp vs Filler final.

The two best players in the world battling it out would be great.

Looks like he intended to fling it into the corner pocket, not off the table. I'd let it slide w/a warning, he's out anyway.
And in case anybody else presumed it was Jayson, it wasn't - it was a different Shaw, So:

So Shaw is certainly a "character", they let him commentate on a bit of the Scottish open a few years ago. Within 5 mins he'd swore live on air, tried to get the other commentator have a bet on the match with him and when the other commentator mentioned the Maldives open So Shaw replied "I was there, I think I done a lady boy".

Funnily enough never heard him on commentary since. Video here if anyone is interested:

He must just be good at every sport. At the Scottish Open Jayson's dad challenged Felix to a game of darts and he was ridiculously good at that too. They were trying to see who could throw closest to the bullseye and Felix hit the bullseye twice.
He also seems to be a genuinely nice kid. I met him in Florida last year.
