If Hohmann wins one more game OR Stalev wins one more game, the deal is done...Hohmann to the finals.

Yeah he's just trying to set up a sucker for the finals. Hohmann is overrated, and has only won 2 world championships in the past three years, in two different disciplines. Sure he's considered by many to be one of the greatest living players -- Who *wouldn't* want to go up against that?

In case anybody is interested, Efren Reyes and Ralf Souquet are tied up at 4-4.

Dennis Orcollo wins, 8-4 or 8-5, I think. I can't see the score counter, but he definitely won the match.

over the last two days, thorsten hohman has defeated marlon manalo by a cumalative score of 16-4. that is incredible. two day ago at the start of the round of final 18, i picked hohmann and manalo in the finals an the az thread.

But don't forget, Manalo beat Hohmann twice in the KOTH tournament (both were on TV). So they have an even IPT record against each other.

It's gonna be a great final.

The winner of that is guaranteed at least $10,000 more. If Stalev comes back to beat Orcollo, then percentages factor in as three players will be tied with two wins.Reyes or Soquet with their superior winning percentages(over Stalev,Orcollo) could springboard up to third place money, which would be an additional $30,000 more.
