I wish I was even remotely close to that location, that'd be a great auction to go to.

Cue Auction

I was so impressed by the old style hustler cases--
the guys that carried those cases you just watched-!

I could have spent a fortune if I was there and had the $$

Does anyone recognize the cases?

Probably a Tiffany from New York converted suitcase or Fly rod case
I doubt survey equipment was ever in a case like that.

Maybe a 2/3 piece rifle case converted?

Anyway --hope someone can benefit from the link --I just like to troll sometimes.

Some good deals, and some not so good. Goes with the territory. I remember seeing the fancy Samsara go for something like $350...which seemed really good if you like Samsaras.

I picked up a few. One of which was a terrific price. Overall, it was fun. One guy paid $250 for a production George B. made by adam....that brought out some laughs.

I oldmost bought a George Balabushka for 250! It was signed and everything! LOL. I was going to buy some cues but Ted just held his bidder card up the whole time so he pretty much bought every cue and vase in the place. I did manage to pick up a couple nice pieces. I got a brunswick veneered cue that will make a nice conversion.

Auction

any cheap bargain to show?

Things did get bid up a little, there were a lot of people there.
I'll post the cues later in the gallery after I take some pics.
I also have some pics comng from a friend that took a few.

Like Doug said, some great deals and some not so great.
Typical auction from what I'm hearing, the first auction I have ever been to except silent charity auctions.
The bidding didn't get crazy in my opinion but who knows.
The auction people had no idea that cues would be that popular.

The cigar store indian went for $225

I really wanted to bid on that but I got to talking about cues and missed when they auctioned it. I would have put it in the shop.
