My best friend who I play pool with had this cue with him today. His wife goes to tons of auctions and estate sales. There was an estate sale in their neighborhood, and there was a pool table and some cues and stuff there. My friend went to check it out. He bought this cue for $1. He had NO IDEA what it was or what it was worth. He bought it just because it was a cool old cue for a buck. Well I nearly lost it when I saw it, and I had to have it. I made him a deal and now its mine. The entire back end is ivory, the joint is ivory, and the ferrule is ivory. We hit balls and it plays really really good. What do you think?

You DOG. I had one I got for $100.00, gave it to a surgeon that saved a girls life I lived with. She however is long gone (from me). Harvey was my Idol. Nice catch.

I hate you
Those deals don't happen every day but when they do is quite a score...

OK. I'll give you $2 for it. :D

Unbelievable. It makes you wonder how many truly classic cues get sold at garage sales and abused by kids on a basement table until broken and thrown away...

.

Love it, Brian. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I won't tell you what I paid for my Harvey Martin w/two shafts - and it looks very similar to yours without the ivory buttcap. We'll have to meet and inspect our Martins together. It's making me want to take play with mine, it's been a long time since it's seen daylight.
