Unchalked Tascarella Wrapless Fullsplice Cue--Piloted Ivory Joint--Hoppe Style!

It's called a fiber tip pad. Protects the ferrule. Pretty common item back in the day but not as much today.

Glad I could help out..

Cheers

This is a beautiful cue! I have never seen a ring between the tip and the ferrule like that. Someone care to enlighten? What is this?

Man, I would love to own this cue. A pool buddy of mine plays with a Tasc and even though his is a steel joint, it plays incredible. This SHOULD be sold by now! Wow!

the problem is your extra tax:eek:
would love to know a deal without the tax

There is only tax for residents of California Ralf. This cue is the same price as from Tascarella with no waiting. Fullsplice cues are $300.00 more than standard short spice cues. I'm fortunate to be able to get a few special cues here and there for my customers.

It's a fiber pad that can be had in red and black and maybe some other colors too.It soften the hit in a very small way,but also protects the ferrule when changing tips.I'm sure there are some other members can add to this. This is what my "tip guy" told me.I like the look of a red pad under a black Kamui,or not :)

It is unfortunate that this F/S thread has been taken off topic, as this must be the sweetest cue for sale anywhere, anytime, IMHO.

In my mind this cue points out that a cue not only does not need inlays to be a monster, but a cue can be more desirable because it has NO inlays, only impeccable workmanship and first class materials are needed to be judged among the best cues ever made.

All cuemakers should make this same, with a Davis blank, cue 50 times before they do their first inlay!

I am a sucker for Hoppe style cues and this one looks a gem. If its still around in two weeks (fat chance) I will take it. Paydays are always two weeks out when one I want shows up, oh well.
