I am trying to get this confirmed. I hope this is not someone's idea of a joke. The World Cup from Turkey canceled going into the quarter-finals. Stay tuned.

Unfortunately, this is not a rumor. I am in contact with Kozoom on the ground in real time. It is a money issue. I am told that the full purse was not put up for what ever reason. This is not normal procedure. If this is true, it behooves the UMB to step up to the plate (in my humble opinion). Stay tuned.
 
I remember the USBA had a sanctioned tournament out in California a few years ago. The story goes that Jim Shovak payed the shortfall out of his own pocket. That is called stepping up to the plate!
