Thorsten Hohmann at 4 in Group 3

and another German

Andreas Roschkowsky at 4 wins in Group 10.

Taiwan's Kun-chang Huang in Group 15

with my choice

Marlon Manalo with 4 in Group 15.

Go Marlon Go!!!

These 4 are assured of the top 64 slots.

Are you sure? There have been several over the years in the WPC that have failed to advance to the knockout stage despite four wins.

I'm pretty sure and willing to bet $100 on all this 4 to make it to the magic 64.

Are you upto for it?

Each is probably 98% to advance. Isn't Johnny Archer also 4 - 0?

I'm adding:

Japanese Satoshi Kawabata with 4 wins in Group 6

and .....

Americas' very own Johnny Archer with 4 wins in Group 6 as well.

That's 6 with 4 and 0 record after day 2.

Feijen last year failed to advance despite 4 wins.

Its very difficult to read into these results, as all that matters is that they get through to R64. Chang Pei Wei made the final last year, and only scraped through his group.

More undefeated with 4 on 0.

Taiwanese Po-cheng Kuo with 4 in Group 16.

England's Raj Hundal with 4 in Group 14.
(This one has never made pass any WPC group stages. So far has beaten the 2 Taiwanese young guns Wu and Ko. Dark Horse in the making?)

Now it's the auspicious number 8.

Tell me, did Feijen start 4 and 0?

I'm pretty sure Feijen has a loss. Man am I glad I made a bet on Hohmann if he can finish with say six wins he should have an easy (if there is such a thing in WPC) draw to start the KO stages.

Vcash or real cash? I almost made a bet on Hohmann and Archer to win, I am gonna be kicking myself if one of them ends up taking it off. I think Archer is the odds on favorite to win this thing given his start and the fact that he is overdue winning it again as the most consistently dominant player over the last 12 years.

I betted on both of them and Efren. I figure with all the "hot fire" that Archer has been shooting with the last few months (undeafeated through the open [well until the final against Thorsten] and florida open). And Thorsten...well hes been shooting good lately and I think he wants to show everyone that when he won it in 03 it wasnt a fluke.

Let us see if someone from this list can win the WPC.
If I am not mistaken, no one has won the WPC going undefeated in the group stages. Alex Pagualyan nearly did that in 2003. He won all his matches in Cardiff except the big one.

Feijen lost to Corey Deuel
