With all the closings of pool halls it is really nice to spread the word about a NEW room opening up!

Tonight is the grand opening of Underground Billiards. This is a big day for them as they've had to overcome some serious obstacles to get their doors open. Congrats to Raquel and Kevin on seeing their dream come true!!!

Congrats Raquel and Kevin. The place is going to be great can't wait to check it out in a couple of weeks when we play there again. You guys are awesome people and great friends, I hope your place does well.
 
Great time last night, the grand opening went perfectly. Beers were flowing, food was great! Everyone had a great time, I'm throwing up a few pics from different angles of the room so you all can get a feel for it. If you're ever in R.I. don't forget to visit the bar table capital of the state :thumbup:

Your room looks very nice, congrats. Do you have any 9 footers or all bar tables? Any info on leagues or tourneys?

They have 8 bar tables, no 9's. There is a 9ball tournament every Wednesday night and an 8ball tournament every Friday night. League play on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights. They will be updating their Facebook page over the next few days and all the info will be there Stan.
This really is a nice, comfortable room. Plenty of seating and plenty of room to play, they have the tables spaced pretty far apart and could easily add 2 - 4 more tables without it feeling crowded.
