So, I wasn't planning on buying anything for a while since I have a Monster Sly on order that should be ready in the summer. Ended up I was at work on a Sunday about a month ago, was feeling very depressed because right before I went to work, found out my grandfather had passed away that morning. Was very close to him and just got back from visiting him the week before. He was really sick and we new he wasn't going to make it much longer, but its still sad and depressing none the less. My grandfather was very crafty his whole life, had lots of skills and did a lot. He loved to build things with his hands and always let me help.

So I was going thru facebook at work, have tons of the pool groups on my page. Saw a cue that was near finished up for sale by the cuemaker. For some reason, it brightened up my day a bit and really reminded me about my grandfather. So i contacted the cue maker and we made a deal. He was happy because I told him I own another of his cues and really wanted to add this.

Even though I didn't get to pick the woods or design itself, I got to choose the joint, wrap, and all specs of the shafts I wanted. Couldn't be more happy about the purchase, cue plays really to my liking. Confirmed to myself, that my favorite feel comes with an Ivory Joint & Ivory Ferrules with an Ultraskin tip.

The cue is a Jim Pierce, its Tulipwood & Holly, 6 points, the ring work is awesome and has Ivory Joint and Ferrules as previously stated.
