SOLD!
Ok gentlemen, here is a chance to get into building some hustler cues & doing tips, repairs, and such. I bought this Cue Companion 3 a few years ago from a local guy. It's not in the cleanest shape but I was going to upgrade it with some new parts and use it to work a few tournaments. Well I'm just too busy & this machine has been doing nothing but collecting dust. Its in the exact condition that I bought it. It doesn't have all the goodies that come with a new one but it does have both the large & small chuck so you can do tips, ferrules, buttcaps, or joint work. I must be honest & tell you the small chuck is pretty beat up. It looks like he got it too tight occasionally and opened with channel locks or such. I was going to just replace the small chuck, you "may" be able to spend some time & recover it. The large chuck seems fine. As cheap as I'm going to sell this...replacing a few parts won't hurt. Also included is the foot control ($40) for doing linen wraps, the steady rest for working on house cues, Unique's special little tip shaper thats the best on the market ($70), tip holder ($12) a 5/16-18 tenon die for threading tenons ($32), standard (not pictured) boring bar ($35), and drill chuck, arbor & key ($48) I'm also even going to throw in a brand new (not pictured) 3/8" toolpost kit & tool upgrade ($135). You will need to purchase some odds & ends like drivers, taps, drill bits, shaft collars....the great guys at Unique are excellent to work with & will take great care of you on anything you need. I want to be clear...this lathe is no where near new & has seen a lot of use, but it will be fine with a little loving care. I'm selling it in "as is" condition. This #3 lathe sells for $1600 new from Unique. I'm going to price this one so cheap it should sell in minutes. At this price you can afford a couple new parts to put this back into tip top shape. I have it packed extremely well & boxed and ready to ship exactly the way Unique ships them. On top of everything I'll include a set of tapes (not pictured) showing everything needed...how to: tips, ferrules, buttcaps, wraps, build sneaky petes, everything. I think the tape set sold for $100. I researched a little and this price is by far the cheapest I've ever seen this quality lathe priced. If you've been thinking of getting into the business...here is your first step on the cheap.
