Has anyone used the tip centering tool from Unique called the Tipalizer ?
Looking for some feedback as to how well it works and can it be used with your tail stock or just by hand. Or is there something better bought or made that you like better. Thanks for the help.

FYI There is a nice looking one now on Ebay for $25.00 looks great, can be used different size tips, Check it out and let me know what you think of it.
Search cue lathe and you will see it.
 
I have tried a few different tip centering devices including one or two
that I made. I find that doing it by hand is works best for me.
JMHO.

I use the tipalizer everytime I Chang a tip as my hand shakes due to my diabetes and to tell you the truth I love it

This tool works fine for me when installing same size tips (LePro, Triangle, etc...); however when installing over sized tips (most laminated tips @ 14mm), I just do it by hand/eye.

I also use the Tipalizer for specialty type tips (e.g. IceBreaker) where the center being center is a must.
