Just wanted to share some pics of my latest edition case with you.

Her the description:

Violin - Cuecase - “one of a kind”- 3rd edition.

A very rare eye catcher - feel like "Al Capone" !

This is a brand new finished one-of-a-kind violin cue case which is
modified to hold 2 butts and 4 shafts. Basic is an antique black wooden violin case.

The case features a 2GB-MP3-player (some very cool songs on it like “Once upon a time in the west” written by Ennio Morricone) connected with a 4 speaker system and a separate battery. The speakers are covered with velvet. The battery and the electric system is locked by using a magnetic system. Even the chalk has it´s special place. There is another tube holding a cigar for very special victorious moments.
The complete case and all tubes are covered with finest red velvet. Every shaft and butt, the cigar, the MP3-player and all the other parts are fitting perfect and hold by itself. The opened case can be turned upside down without falling out a single piece. All parts are sinked that deep in the case that they don´t touch each other closing the case. The case has a length of 78,5 cm (30,9 inch) outside. The available space inside is 76,8 cm (30,2 inch). This case (it even has it´s own data plate) is for sure a unique collectors item and also provides best protection for your cues.

Selling price is 1299,- $ US plus shiping costs (price is just for the case without cues). You can contact me on: th.duerr(at)gmx.de

Best regards from Germany

Great case design

I really like the idea of puting the cue in a violin case, very retro. However, I feel that if you want to have more luck producing and selling them, the cost must come down and/or the amenities need to be downgraded. IMO
But again, great case! I love it!

Another one available now. :ok:

Price as in the opening post
or also interested in trades with higher cues.

I don't get it!

The price would be fine if the craftmanship was the same. The concept is nice but the execution isn't.Chunks of fabric missing and cutlines not smooth.I can't play music during a match and can only smoke the cigar outside if i win the match.Good effort but needs some fine tuning.I know people are going to freak reading this but c'mon lets be real!

Great case but i have to agree with scsuxci. For 1300 i cant see where 900 of that $ went to! Its not a top notch case first of its just a regular economic violin case. Where the speakers are the wires are not placed nice its messy. The fabric placement isnt that great either...

Its great that you are making these cases but to sell it at 1300?! Thats just robbery man.

my friend out in california made his cue case out of an old violin case when he got a new one, they do look pretty sick its just the patients to make one.

Case

I THOUGHT I SAW THIS CASE SELL ON EBAY A COUPLE MONTHS AGO AROUND $300 IF MY MEMORY IS STILL WORKING THESE DAYS
