Unity Custome Cues

are these cues cored or not? or does it depend on the cuemaker's choice?
if these cues are made by several american cue makers, does it mean that the dimensions and tapers are different per maker? is it also each cuemakers choice as to what finish to use?
essentially are the cues made to each of the different cuemakers specifications or was everything standardized when they decided to make the unity cues?

Geocheren,

Thanks for your interest. None of the Unity cues will be cored. We are using woods that we feel are very stable. There's only two cue makers involved in Unity. One is doing all the construction of the butts and the other is doing all the shafts, finishes, wraps, ect. Thanks agian. If you have any other questions feel free to PM us.

I'm curious, what imported cues in that price range are these cues supposed to be an alternative for? Setting aside the factual reasons why you think American made is always > cues made abroad (Japan? Germany?), I simply don't see the clutch of foreign cues these guys are gunning after.

To me these are, if anything, alternatives to mid-range US production cues like Joss or Mcdermott, and low-end US custom cues from various makers.

When we started Unity we were not trying to compete with imported brands. We were just trying to offer a custom made, American made cue at a reasonable price. Thanks for your interest.

Thanks Nate !!. I am looking forward to playing with it when I get home from Afghanistan in a couple of weeks . Happy Holidays to you and everyone at Unity Cues !!

I would like to take a moment to thank YOU, and the many other military, who are stationed in an extremely dangerous situation in today's troubled world, fighting to keep OUR world safe from tyranny. Keep your head down and your eyes open, until you hit mainland! Want to see you safe and sound at home.

Best of luck to you, and I know you will enjoy that UNITY cue.

These cues look fabulous. Reminds me of a couple of "plain janes" I used to have that cost me over 100.00 more than these. Hard to tell by the pictures, but the build quality (finish, wrap, etc.) looks on par if not better than mine. If I weren't having my own customer design being built by Wayne Holmes, I would probably take a couple of these off your hands. Definitely keep these in mind for a later date.

Question, would you guys consider making any with Purple Heart? I am quite fond of the stuff.

Good luck with the sale and here's another nightly bump!

Chris :O)

Thank you Chris.
Here are a couple pictures of some curly purple heart that you might enjoy. This is the next batch of Unity Cues. We have more purple heart cues coming soon. Again, thanks a lot for the possitive feedback.

Make some 59" length with 13.25mm shafts at ~20oz total weight and I might know someone interested. :)

What is the wood in that lower cue pictured above?
