Universal Drive.....do they work well?

I'm asking about the universal drives (shafts/butts) like what comes with the Shaftmaster. If they work well enough to wax, clean and burnish shafts and they last a half way decent amount of time I would rather buy two of those than to buy a bunch of drive sets and spend a whole lot more.

I also thought of two common drives like 3/8x10 and a radial, or 3/8x10 and 11 and the radial and then to use the universal for all the other thread sets so I wouldn't wear it out.

You would be better with something made to fit each shaft thread
cheapest isnt the best remember you get what you pay for.

Eh I figured as much. Once I thought about it a little bit I saw the potential for one of those things to damage a shaft.
