universal shaft

i visited a local store yesterday and noticed beside the set of predators stuffs,there's a couple of shaft says"universal shaft".The crew was trying to convince me that it was made by predator because it has a predator jacket.i looked at the wood,about 5inches from the collar is regular wood and the rest is spliced wood like predator.could someone confirm me that this is really made by predator?i don't really believe that predator has ever made such as that.i am not an expert but i don't think the hit will be same at all as 314 or Z shafts.

the universal is a good shaft, but it is not made by predator! they have an interchangeable joint system and are low deflection (but not as low as predator). the hit is more solid than predator though (no hollow spaces).

thy make two versions. a ls low squirt and a reg. as stated before you can buy the shaft then different joint adapters so you can use the same shaft on lets say a 5x16-14 and 3x8-10 cue
