Hey guys...
Just found the forum, been playing for quite a few years..
Anyways, I just had a cue given to me by my father.. He doesnt really know much about it other than he bought it back in the 50's or 60's and I am trying to gather any information I can on it.
It is an Aluminum cue, it DOES have a sticker at the base that reads ALCOA Le Fiell TITAN Q - Patent Applied For.
Its sort of a goldish/orange (brass color) and brown marble finish, with a solid brass colored shaft.
I have contacted ALCOA, and they have no Idea what it is, as well as Le Fiell sports.. not even the "higher ups" in the companies really knew what it was / where it came from. Thier best guess was that it was a promotional gift made for Execs at Alcoa in the 60's..
All i can find out is that the TITAN Q trademark is expired and was registered in 1966.
Sorry If I sound dumb here, but I dont think this is a common cue... Id like to find out before I play with it!
I will try to post pics later if you need them!
Thanks for any help!
