Cognoscenti/Hunter - high quality shafts
Here are two high end shafts brought to me by Dennis Orcullo some years ago. He no longer wants them so we are now offering them for sale. These are exceptionally nice shafts with perfectly figured wood. Nicely worn in and both play great. They are either Bob Hunter or Cognoscenti shafts. I'm leaning towards Cog since the ferrules appear to be linen on closer inspection. They both roll almost perfectly flat and straight. Smooth and clean with no dings on either one.
They are both 30" long. One is 4.1 oz. and the other is 4.2 oz. The lighter one is 12.5 mm at the tip and the other one 12.6 mm. They have long professional tapers. The ferrules are one inch long. I don't think they are ivory, possibly linen. They each have about two dozen finely inlaid tiny squares in the the joint collar ring. Some nice work went into making these shafts and the wood used is of the highest quality.
I think they are some type of modified 3/8-10 pin, maybe a radial pin.
I want $150 for each of them, plus $10 shipping. SOLD
