Unknown need help identifying....

I picked up this cue real cheap at an antique store hoping it might be a unique find...maybe it is....maybe it isn't, your input would be greatly appreciated.

It is a full splice and has some girth to it....the weight (18 oz) is etched in engraved in the forearm

Looks like an old conversion to me. Maybe somebody else will know better.

Thanks Doc, always appreciate your feedback, the joint looks ancient as well...I'm very curious
