Looks cheap

The butt plate on most good cues screws on. If it were there it would probably have a undesierable brand logo that is why it is missing probably.

Spend a couple xtra $$$

Hey,

Don't take this the wrong way.....you want to buy a nice cue to play with right!? -- you should just quit kidding yourself and buy the ZAC tulipwood cue I showed you last week.....no questions about if it's good-bad-or whatever....it's a 1/1 the wood you really like --- and it shoots like a dream!!!

What are you thinking :p these cues your wasting your time looking at are junk at best

Good cues, I've got!

I have several nice custom cues, I just thought this might be a gold mine in need of some work! The ZAC really just doesn't do it for me.

Be very carefull of 2nd Chance

Not saying this is the same case with yours. But I was a 2nd highest bid on a cue about 1 month ago. A week after it closed, I got an email for a second chance purchase now? Something was wrong.... I had emailed the seller the week before asking for extra pictures, which he sent. The buy now had a different email address

I emailed the same email from the first contact asked what was up? He said he had no idea since his cue had already left for the new owner and this was not his email address or the new owner, must be fake! Ebay said it was fake also.

I emailed the 2nd chance guy. I told him based on our previous e-mail from the week before, the offer was still good as a week ago? "As before" he could send the cue out for 2 week inspection, just as we agreed to before, "You already have my address from the email from the week before.." Never heard from him again. ;)

The second chance offer is a scam. Don't fall for it. I bid on two different cues and was given this offer on both of them. 2 months later I bid on another cue and was given the same offer. If it is legit it will come from your messages in your EBAy account. Forward it to: spoof@paypal.com You can also get this from the Ebay website.

Do not hit the link in the message that was sent to you because it is made to look official. All the scammers want is your Pay Pal info or credit card info so they can get into either one and rip you off.

I pulled a reverse on one guy. I emailed him back saying that I was planning on bidding up to $6000 on the cue and had a cashiers check for that amount but my computer got messed up and I could not get on line before the auction ended. Since he was willing to take my bid of $450 and I had a check already made out I would send him the $6000 and he could cash it and send me the cue and the difference. Never got a response back.

second chance

I'm pretty sure the offer is legit, it came from my messages in My Ebay. Not some random email offering another chance. I'm sure it is the real deal, but is the cue worth anything.

It should be legit since it came through Ebay's "my messages". The problem is that several the identification items have been removed. Could make you suspicious, but it could just be from age. I agree that it looks a lot like an older McDermotts, particularly the D7 and D8, but not exactly. You will just have to rely on your instinct. If you think you have a diamond in the rough and can take a chance on $130, go for it. These old cues are like gambling...sometimes you win, but most of the time you lose.

Second Change

I received a second change offer .The offer was on a cue that I was the Second Highest Bidder. The offer was in My Ebay "my Messages".The offer was a scam!!!

Here is a message that I got for a second chance. It looked as if it came from Ebay. It had all of the logos and buttons that looked official.

Respond to this question in My Messages.

It looks legit.

The key is they want you to bypass EBay and go directly to their email. I don't know why Ebay doesn't go after the Email address when the problem is reported.
