Anyone know what model Schon this is? I've looked everywhere I could think of and couldn't find it anywhere. Someone told me at the derby it could be a Runde schon but not sure.

The wood dash rings at the joint would indicate that this is a Runde era Schon. I have no idea of the model number but it does look familiar.

From the pictures it looks like it has rounded points, I thought all Runde Schon's had sharp points.

Seems that in the R series they used different stains and colors. My Schon looks to be a cross between a R11 and a R12, that might be the deal with yours?????????????

Yes it has rounded points. I looked online at the R series schon's but it wasn't in any of those pictures.

Schon would put that ringwork on later model cues if requested, thus all stitched ring Schons are not Runde era cue's.

That's good to know now I have no idea where to look for this model. I've looked on the schon website and sent schon an email with the pictures and never got a response from them.

i posted pics of this same cue a whuile ago and got no feed back what so ever.

i was going to get this off RED but i didnt want to take it without finding what it was worth.

Also, not all Runde cues have stiched rings. Many R series cues had silver rings as an option, I believe.

It might be a sr5

What's an sr5 model? I couldn't find any schon that start with sr. I read online that rounded point schon's were started and completed while Bob Runde was still with schon. It may not be an R series but it still is a Bob Runde era schon whatever that may mean. I sent Evan at Schon another email for the 3rd time and if I don't get a response by tomorrow I'll try to call. Somebody has to have some info on this cue.

Schon

The stich rings along with the micarta ferrule say runde to me and yes there were some made with cnc points twoard the end of bob's tenure with schon.

I found the sr5 model schon and it does resemble the one I have but it's not it.

SR5 or SP20 version. It is like these, but not exact. You could option pieces and parts from all models. Stitch rings are still an option as silver rings were an option with the R series. Ferrules do not mean a lot unless you are positive it is original. They can get changed with a new owner. Runde started with sharp points but towards the end they switched to CNC points as was stated in another post. Tate (Palmer collector) has old brochure scans of Schons on his site. You can look for bOth cues mentioned there.

Any chance you'd happen to be able to get bigger pictures?
These are tough because of the cnc'd points. Great cues just hard to determine models as well as values and if a Bob Runde had anything to do with it. Very tough. But again a great looking older schon here.
