Escott Cues
Probably just a simple bar cue conversion by an unknown, but here it is.

Figured wood, odd weights, off-center weight hole, pin glued into shaft insert.

It looks exactly like I'd expect it to if I got a little into the brown liquor and decided to have a go at my favorite bar cue... 😁

Actually pretty cool though. How does it play?

Plays good. Had a slight click which was probably those weights. That’s why I have it. A friend picked it up at a pawnshop and wanted me to find the click and additional info.

I wonder...what does it weight with and without those weights?

Kind of a cool old cue, probably has some stories to tell.

I have no idea who made it. Impresses me as a hobbyist made cue.

19oz with and 16.2 without.

The shaft is dead straight and the butt has a slight warp near the back end.

Everybody and his brother when they first get a lathe build a cue like that. Although that weight system is kind of interesting. Don't really know what to say about the screw in the shaft. Does the grain on the shaft in the butt line up indicating it was originally just a one-piece cue and not a butt with a new shaft made for it? Also, what is the overall length. Most cues that are just a cut in half house cue will be 57 or even a fraction less because of the wood removed when the cut was done.
