Hiya all,
Happened across this cue (I had a good night on the tables, so to speak) last night, and...as all of you know...I'm not a fan of wrapless cues.
I have no clue who made it, as it is unmarked...but is a really sharp looking cue that would be a nice player for somebody who likes 'em without a wrap. I did hit a few balls with it, and it has a nice crisp hit and feel.....
Specs are as follows:
Roughly 19-19.5 ounces (I don't have a scale with me)
One shaft at 13mm (or VERY close to it)
Cocobola Forearm and Sleeve
Maple handle
Cocobola, white phenolic, and nickle silver rings at C, D, and E into black phenolic
Double silver rings at A and B
Short white buttcap
5/16x18 pilot joint with brass insert
The cue has a couple minor finish dings, and a couple ferrule scratches....but nothing really significant. Overall, I would give the cue about 90% PLUS.
The cue does hit really nice....stiff but not overly so....but I'm just not a wrapless cue fan....so I'd like this to go to somebody who would use it.
Since I don't know who made it, I'm not even close to guessing its value...but I know that it was worth $200 to the guy I "got" it from!
Cue is for sale to the best offer....be it in cash or trade for a cue with a wrap or a decent case.
