Unplayed, Un-test hit?

I see a lot of refinished cues labeled "unhit" after refinishing.. I mean does refinishing really remove play to?

Dear Phil,

I got the cue from bushwhacker -Gary and he described the cue as brand new and unhit.

I just looked at the cue if it was straight and that was all.

I NEVER HIT A BALL with it.

I just don't appreciate the noise you did around the cue and my great reputation on Az.

You could have just sent the cue back to me and end of story.

I had some other ppl interested in the cue and once they figured you bought it they said I'd have it back in no time since they know you.

I don't blame you but you should just send it back.

Vass

I'll refund the funds as soon as I get the cue in condition I sent to you.

Vass

Vass is good for his word, 100%. This complaint was improperly handled.

It was a T stamped over a S and it will disappear after 1 or two test hits and the cue in question is a Scruggs! This is done to all the cues and would be very hard almost not worth the effort to counterfit. So now you know how tell a absolute unplayed Scruggs cue every time!
Nick:)

I own five Scruggs cues. Three I bought at Tim's booth at VF, one came from E-Bay, and the most recent I picked up at Tim's shop last July. The tips of the cues that I bought at VF were marked, but the markings didn't look uniform enough to me that I thought they were a stamp. They looked handwritten with a ball point pen or something.

At work right now and I don't remember if the new cue's shafts have any markings or not.
