Thanks for all the nice replies.i do have some more of the wood so will be making up some others. the handle and forearm are both cored.the jiont and butt cap are buffalo horn.

Really digging your work Joe. Excellent wood selection, nice color combinations, and great execution. Would like to speak to you sometime about a cue.

Saw this cue last Tuesday night.

Wow.... The Window Boxes in the Butt and something to see.

Fit and finish are at the highest quality.

Joe has started a playing cue to match my J/B cue that he made for me last year. Can't wait....
 
Oak wood

I've never seen Oak wood that looked that nice and you don't see a lot of custom cues made from Oak. If you could get Oak as nice as you have I think it would be used often in cues. Great looking cue......
