It's kind of hard to root against the home team, and Mike Davis is a formidable opponent in any professional venue, but I gotta go with Danny "Kid Delicious" Basavich and bet a nickel! 
He is on a roll this year:

You got a point there, Dave! And 2-to-1 odds is the nuts with Mike Davis. He came in second at the World Summit in NYC against Santos, won the Reno Open last year, the points leader on the Planet Pool 9-Ball Tour 2 years in a row, plus the regional tour wins, like that one we both saw in Quincy.
Another thing, both of these guys NEVER stay up late at night before a match, get the proper rest, and do everything in their power to bring their best game to the table. It truly is a tough call.

Oh well. I think I would probably take the same bet again if the odds were similar but it's always a struggle to bet against Danny. Especially the way he's been playing.
