UPA Tour Championships

Thanks for the updates

TonyC is the Man, thanks for your hard work on keeping us updated.
I pick Hill Billy to win it all, you guys want to bet some VCash?
Who does Davenport play? Loser of Parica and Charlie? Id pick Davenport over Parica, and Charlie over them both.
The Charlie and Rodney match (if it happens) would be good Id imagine.
From what Im told though is that none of these guys are playing all that great so its probably up in the air for anyone to win.
If anyone there wants to give Salazar the 7-ball; Ill find some money to Western Union to him.

I watched Sigel play on thursday and he was really pissed off about the table conditions.

Do you happen to know what it was he was unhappy about?

Congratulations on your win by the way and good luck to you!!!!!!

The table was probably in perfect condition & he was just upset that he lost. HE isn't supposed to lose to any of these guys so if he does, then it must be the equipment. (This is the way the MS that I used know thought. Maybe he's different today but from other accounts of his actions of late, I doubt it)

:)

Tony Crosby, you're to be commended for keeping us inquiring minds back home up to date on the UPA event. Thanks so very much.

Congratulations on your fine showing in a very strong field. Keep it going, and I'm going to be staying tuned to this thread.

Your website, BTW, is fantastic. You're a gentleman and a scholar, one who doesn't pick fist fights with opponents during a match, one who is complimentary of his peers, never uttering a bad word about anyone in public, a very humble player who exudes integrity in today's politically incorrect pool world, and most of all, you're representative of what today's pool player should be all about. I've always been a fan of The Sniper! :)

Ditto what she said. JAM, you're more familiar with the many different personalities in the pool world than most on the forum. You hit the nail on the head, IMO about Tony Crosby. At any event that I've been to, he's always been a perfect gentleman on & off the pool table. It's always a pleasure to see him at a tournament.

Justwant to say thanks for all the good response and compliments.
I have got a tough game today with Kiamco.
As for Sigel I just think he is taking the heat a little YA YA YA when he is playing.
I will keep the site updated in between matches.

Ps Jam & Timberley, I realy need to put you two on payroll.

Tony says "This is the second time in a month a have played Sigel and sent him out of the tournament so I may not be on his Xmas card list."

LOL, that's funny! :p Good shooting Tony. We have faith that you can take Kiamco. ;)

My tournament just came to end with a 10-9 loss to Kiamco.

Timberly,
His defeat was a tragic story.crosby was a head of Kiamco with a score of 9-5( or 9-6)Several unfortunate things happened and the score became 9-9.In the final game kiamco missed the shots three times and every time he got lucky and the cue ball stoped behind some ball in a close range and Crosby did not have a shot and had to kick.
On the winners side Rodney Morris made some spectacular shots to dismiss `Hill Billy`` 10-3.

The Hillbilly lost, 10-3 or 10-4, can't remember exactly which one right now.

He looked really out of sorts, wasn't himself. Seemed like Vegas might be getting the best of him this weekend?

I wish for Hillbilliy's sake it was just Vegas, but it's not. He recently lost a close cousin in a very tragic way and he's trying like hell to deal with it and go on. :(

Thank you Vagabond. It sure is heatbreaking to have a match go like Tony's did.... You can play skill but you can't play luck. It's a shame that Kiamco was getting such rolls when Tony was playing so well. :(

Thank you so much for the update. Much appreciated.

Wish Charlie wins his ESPN rounds.
