The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is at Hippo’s House of Billiards in Utica, NY this weekend with 32 players competing for a $4,060 total prize fund.

They are down to the final eight players and Sunday’s matches starting at noon are;

On the Winners Side;
Mike Zuglan vs Dennis Hatch
Joey Korsiak vs Paul Thornley

On the One Loss Side;
Jim Forsythe vs Milt Lewis
Gary Empey vs Ryan McCreesh

Also, Mike Zuglan is taking entries for the recently announced Turning Stone Classic VI 9-Ball Open. This $25,000 added event is filling fast and is limited to the first 128 paid entries. It will take place on February 16th - 19th, 2006 at the beautiful Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.

Remember, the previous five Turning Stone events were SOLD OUT so enter early! The Turning Stone is a non-alcohol serving casino which means you only need to be 18 to play in the tournament or gamble on the casino floor and spectator admission is FREE.

The Turning Stone is located in upstate NY about 250 miles (4 hours) northwest of Manhattan.

Right now, it's Joey Korsiak and Dennis Hatch duking it out in the finals. Ryan "Genie Man" McCreesh ended up coming in third place.

On the Winners Side:
Dennis Hatch over Mike Zuglan 9-8
Joey Korsiak over Paul Thornley 9-7

and then Joey Korsiak over Dennis Hatch 9-2

Joey Korsiak was in the hot seat!

On the One Loss Side;
Jim Forsythe over Milt Lewis 9-5
Ryan McCreesh over Gary Empey 9-7

then:

Mike Zuglan over Jim Forsythe 9-4
Ryan McCreesh over Paul Thornley 9-6

Ryan McCreesh over Mike Zuglan 9-0
and then Dennis Hatch over Ryan McCreesh 9-7

So it was Dennis Hatch and Joey Korsiak in the finals!

1st set - Dennis Hatch over Joey Korsiak 9-4
2nd set - Dennis Hatch over Joey Korsiak 9-6
