I spoke to Lee today he is 7, He is in the Shriner's Hospital for Kids and is real strong antibiotics to get the inflammation down before they can operate. He is in a good mood and happy. He was telling me all about Cars2 and the R/C car he wants from the movie, he told me how to "google" it and do a search. I did. the Car is on its way. LOL(I'm a stone cold sucker); I told him he better be nice to his mom, he promised he would. You couldnt ask for a better son than Lee. They dont make kids better than him. He was real happy and is excited about the car. I feel bad for him, but he said "The hospital is good because its a kids hospital".
Melanie(JA's wife) asked me to thank everyone here for their prayers and thoughts, the medicine is working and from what we can tell he will have a operation to cut out the problem in a couple days. Lee is going to fine thanks to the Shriners. They have been great and really helped out.
I will know more in the next couple days and post what I know here, I was just glad that they found a place for Lee to go to. It costs something like $25,000 for this whole thing. And there is no way to just not treat it and have a 7 year old lose his hearing because of $$$. That just aint gonna happen. Lee is going to be fine at the end of the day, he might lose a little of his hearing or if were lucky he wont lose any. It looks like it will be very little if any because they got to it in time, this is the second time. Hopefully he will grow out of this problem, I am not sure if its that kind of thing, I dont think it is.
Sincerely
Eric
