I spoke to Lee today he is 7, He is in the Shriner's Hospital for Kids and is real strong antibiotics to get the inflammation down before they can operate. He is in a good mood and happy. He was telling me all about Cars2 and the R/C car he wants from the movie, he told me how to "google" it and do a search. I did. the Car is on its way. LOL(I'm a stone cold sucker); I told him he better be nice to his mom, he promised he would. You couldnt ask for a better son than Lee. They dont make kids better than him. He was real happy and is excited about the car. I feel bad for him, but he said "The hospital is good because its a kids hospital".

Melanie(JA's wife) asked me to thank everyone here for their prayers and thoughts, the medicine is working and from what we can tell he will have a operation to cut out the problem in a couple days. Lee is going to fine thanks to the Shriners. They have been great and really helped out.

I will know more in the next couple days and post what I know here, I was just glad that they found a place for Lee to go to. It costs something like $25,000 for this whole thing. And there is no way to just not treat it and have a 7 year old lose his hearing because of $$$. That just aint gonna happen. Lee is going to be fine at the end of the day, he might lose a little of his hearing or if were lucky he wont lose any. It looks like it will be very little if any because they got to it in time, this is the second time. Hopefully he will grow out of this problem, I am not sure if its that kind of thing, I dont think it is.

Sincerely

Eric

It's good to hear that Lee is going to be good. I did a clinical rotation at Shriners and they do a very good job. It really is a great organization. If anyone donates to charity, it is a great place to do so. Up until recently (they have fallen on hard times), everything at Shriners used to be free. They had to start charging because of lack of funds.

Keep us updated on his condition and progress. Thanks Eric.

Best wishes for Lee

We've never met Lee, but Johnny is one of true gentlemen my wife Susie and I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Hopefully the doctors get this cleared up, and it's not something he ever has to worry about again. Thanks for the update.

Will hope for the best. Kids seem to deal with problems like this way better than we adults.

That's good news, Eric. I'm sure the Shriners folks will take good care of him.

Thanks for the update, and for being there for the Archers.

Lee just finished up his operation at about 9pm EST, he had a minor procedure yesterday. I spoke to Melanie around 8:30 EST she sounded tired. She is a great mom. its 12!5EST right now as i type this.

Everything went well, dont know about hearing loss yet, but if there is any its not a lot. I spoke to Melanie while Lee was in the OR, She sent me a TXT and said everything was good and she will call me tomorrow-It was a very long day.

JA is where ever the tournament in Asia, I cant remember where it is at, I been out of the loop on pool the past month. I feel bad for him, but knowing that Lee is good he should play much better with that off his mind. I know I would. Wow that's brutal.

I told her I'd let everyone here know things are good and she thanked everyone for their support. I know JA wanted to be home, thats a hard thing to do-Go 12,000 miles away in a jet while your son is in a operation.

Sincerly,

Eric :)

PS I'll post more as I know more, i'm positive it will be good news. But please keep Leebug in your prayers or thoughts-what ever you do. Positive thoughts for Leebug help, I believe that. I hope I can talk to him tomarrow, i really dont know if its possible with bandages on his ears. Thanks again to everyone. :)

Lee got to go home today 7-15, he missed his sisters (Leeanne) by 2 days but I dont think Lee is giving that much thought. Leeanne's Kelly's and my God Daughter. However I love them both equally, You couldnt have better kids, they are great. We sent out Leeanne's B-Day present today Kelly wanted to go shopping for it not just order something online. Before it gets cold were going to go there for a visit after Lee is a bit better and JA is home. I'm really looking forward to that. Its gonna be a mini family reunion. We are blessed to be God Parents to Leeanne. Someday Kelly and I will have kids, and JA will God Father to my son, or daughter.

On pool news, I didnt feel good today and missed going to the BCA Trade show, And was too busy working the past 2 days to go to it, I really enjoy going there and seeing all the new products and seeing friends. I heard it was a good show, hopefully pool is picking up a bit, Lord know's we need it.

I'll make a post next time I speak to Lee in a couple days right here, I have had a few PM's about which Shriner's hospital Lee was in, I'll find out and post that too. My dad was a Shriner, Since they have done so much for Lee when I'm able I'm going to do my part to support them. This has been weighing hard on JA this year, and has taken a toll on his rankings-It would any man. I'm so greatful that the Archers got the help they needed.

Sincerely

Eric
