Update on the Des Moines pool scene

FROST ......... challenge time. This is for the Shane/Scott weekend.

Jason C and Jamie would like to play Jody and Athens. Mike and Jody can pick who they play.

10 ahead for $1,000 a man on the bar table. (singles)

Both sets need to be won by the same team to collect the money.

Hope that all makes sense.

That's just a strong proposition...strong as horse piss some might even say. I need some time to think about it, thanks for the offer regardless...that's one of the strongest offers I've ever gotten.

I'm in just let me know when I need to be there:thumbup: I would like to make an offer to jamie I'll play him in chicago or wisconsin any of the following games bartable 9,10,8-ball or big table 9,10,8-ball the bet is up to him. must be ahead sets and can't quit winner. 2- 10 hour sessions SAT/SUN. if still not decided then prorated.If someone loses before the alotted time they have the option to play again and the winner must play. only stipulation is if he agrees I need some time to get the schedule ok'd with the boss(wife) and to make sure the money is staight. call me Tom

I havent talked to jamie today Tom, i dont know if he would want to head up to your area and play or not.

Athens is out....looks like a big NO GO. I suspect there will be some good stuff to sweat though for that weekend and naturally some random challenges going on.

K thanks. Ill be sure to tell Jamie and Jason later today. After all the talk there was it seemed natural that this matchup could have taken place. But we all know how talking goes. Thanks for trying Frost.

When i talk to Jamie ill mention that Tom wants him to come out and play. Not promising anything.

We have 4 kids all day, and our barber is coming over tonight for family cuts :) Thanks for the offer, but we wont be able to do it. I have to make sure to get the kids gone and my little one to my mothers tomorrow so i can play Pet.
 
Oh are you guys still going to play? I talked to him yesterday and he didn't mention it one single time...is it still a 9 ball set and a 10 ball set? If not what's the deal with it? He's been a little out of touch this week, don't know if that's good or bad. I do know he doesnt want me to be there when y'all play which is odd but I will sit at a bar somewhere while I'm donating to u!

Yeah, far as i know 2pm. I hope he dont cancel since i had my mom change her day to watch david for me. And make plans to get rid of the other kids because tammie cleans a house on Fridays.
 
Im putting up $500 of it. He was supposed to play you on his own dime strictly, but he's waiting on some extra funds to come in. I don't know all the details, really havent looked into it much just told him I would put up $500. He has a better shot at the 10 ball IMO cuz its tougher to break well, you know how I feel about the 9 ball. I'm sure you guys will have fun.

What's the deal with you guys starting early? Some of us work till 5. You need to work on going around our schedules lol :thumbup:. Good luck tomorrow to both if I don't get to stop up and watch.
