Conspiracy
Mike, when you make bad bets, you are gonna lose. We all do at some point or another. All you do is put that behind you and move on to the next bet. There is no sense in whining about things that you could have done differently, because what does it really matter now? That is why it is called gambling.
I know for a fact that Pet would never, ever, think about doin business behind your back or anyone else's!! He is a straight up guy, end of story.
Why do you have it out for the owner's and the manager of Big Dog's? They have a business to run, and that means making money, not giving the house away. If you were in there shoes maybe you would understand. They do appreciate the action you have stirred up around there lately, and hope it continues. If anything, the pool players themselves should be loving the fire that is inside of them to just play the game we all love so much, because of all the action. Several players that usually take the summers off, won't put down there cues this summer, because they actually are fired up to play and get into action. Des Moines needed someone to shake things up, and that's what you have done. At the same time, you should have respect for the guys that were here before you. They have earned it! Respect goes a long ways with everyone in the pool community. I heard a saying once, "If you have to ask for respect, you haven't earned it yet". Words to live by in a pool community like ours.
