One of the nicest things about the Freeloader club is that once you are in, you are in for life. It's pretty crazy really. I mean I wake up get a call and boom free tickets to this golf event but not the normal tickets the really good reserved section type of tickets, weird how it works. I hire a guy to do my lawn and by the time he charges me he cuts the price 40%, awesome deal. I would tell the price of the table I'm getting but it would make someone puke because of the deal I'm getting. I used to pay $7 for a Goose and Red Bull, now I get a double shot of Goose with some red bull for $5.75 nice. I used to have to pay pool time, now I just go play for free whenever it hits me.

Is that "pool" talk Pet? If it is, it is not allowed on this thread. You must discuss cartoons, popcorn, etc.
There is no more pool to talk about, is there? This thread is indicitive of the pool in this town. Maybe ppl could post whats happening in the $7 tournaments....thats about it though right?

Yeah right I can't imagine the tournaments here having less than a full field especially Friday nights. I do have to say that 10 ball tournament is definitely the nuts, I dont know if it's cuz i think 10 ball is the best bar box game or not but to have it in a tournament weekly is pretty sick I do admit that. It's the only thing I miss about the pool room.
I noticed a huge drop on Sundays though. My first month here the tournament filled up at 64 one week and the other weeks had 55 minimum. I watched it go down to a low of like 24 players a few weeks ago which was ridiculous. Something needs to change about that tourney. People love 8 ball here, I've noticed that...maybe sunday tourney should be 8 ball?
I think this is a great tournament town. If people arent coming out for the tourneys anymore I'd blame the recession, warmer weather, or the pool room. I'd advise people to get out to the tourneys cuz they are a fun way to spend some extra time especially Friday night. The rest of the tourneys I dont much care for but others do.

Seasonal doldrums. Summer is usally lower -- At least what I have noticed. Seems like winter and spring were the highest.

yes i split with jon brown on friday i know u didnt like that to well i did that so i could play brad and yes jason me and mike h split the tournament last night
