Let's see, not a ton going on lately. I've got some different stuff on my mind as of late so haven't quite been focused on playing any. I might have shot the worst pool of my life yesterday, I couldnt get out of the rain. Anyways enough of that depressing crap.

Yeah I think a 10 ball ring game is what the doctor ordered. Mainly because of time. We can do a decent ring game in 5-6 hours. It'll be a nice little TAR warm up. I need to get with Chad and Oely and talk about a good buy-in/perks for playing. Basically see who wants to give away what haha. It'll be a good time.

Right now from what I heard, Chad Vilmont and Josh Johnson are coming, Justin Bergman is supposed to be coming, I hear Bartram may come through, Behnke's are coming, don't know much more than that to be honest. For it to be a few weeks away no one is talking all that much about it in the pool room, I'm guessing more out of town people are interested than the guys here. Either that or we are too used to SVB and Frost so they don't have that high profile status, especially when guys here used to take Scott's lunch money haha!
 
So you lost to Athens last night im guessing then ?

Any idea how Justin and Somphet ended up ?

Noone else played anything last night ? :confused:
 
I guess if you used to take Scott's lunch money, maybe it isn't as big a deal. I only know of/knew of him post-transformation. All I ever saw was the world beater.

with all those guys coming from out of town, I would hope there would be some match-ups. All that fire-power under one roof.

Camping out (figuratively) online for tickets as we speak. I may have to watch PPV from my couch 5 blocks away... sheesh. :frown:

Oh I lost horribly to Mike, I heard he was playing good, I didn't notice I was too busy sinking in quick sand. I got the 6 ball from Mike and get this, lost 15 games, yes with the 6 ball he was 15 ahead of me. Even worse I tried to pay him and he wouldnt take the money so I bought his pizza from Big Tomato. So he crushes me and won't take the money..now I'm on tilt naturally.

So I go play Jody getting the 4 ball, I lost again. I immediately lose the first 12 games, yes 12 games. Someone said he was playing good, once again I didn't notice. I got it back down to 6 games and paid out because I was disgusted with my whole life. I think from match to match I lost 20 games in a row no BS.

Moral of the story is that's the worst night of pool I think I've ever been a part of and it only cost me $50. I'm pretty down on myself right now and hate it. The woman had my head in a messed up place before I even hit my first ball. Hopefully I'm in a super slump and I never come out of it. This will give me a reason to actually quit.

Your brother and Pet broke even, think Justin let him get there.

John Mescher beat Troy Sowers playing some big table 8 Ball for $50. He looked like he won the super bowl afterwards, it was funny.

Phil got trashed and called me dog more times than Randy Jackson. I got two really bad phone calls throughout the night that upset me. Nothing else to report el capitan.

Oh and I unpacked my IPOD at 2:30 AM when I got home because I needed to do that, badly. Thanks for playing.
 
Yes sir, never knew a real player who didn't "QUIT PLAYING" a half dozen times or so.... hang in there Mikey, better days ahead.:thumbup:

I like the understated look, and could go either way on the points (as was commented).

Sometimes less is more.

You got it J. Mike, no more driving toward Minnesota at 4 in the morning just to go to Perkins, fair enough? Now I can actually use my pool table at home to get some practice.
 
Nothing makes me feel better after a tough night then a back rub and whoopin some APA ass. I prolly will get shut out tonite, we'll see. I cant throw a rock in the ocean right now!
 
Side note, what is the ticket price for 1 day or all 3 for Scotts match? I have seen the stream price listed, but not General Admission or VIP...
 
$25/day VIP seating...not too bad. I suspect I'll be the only person there asleep in the VIP section. I have narcolepsy or something similar as of this morning because I cant stay awake at my desk.

Damn, even Ike Turner would be envious of that beating. Were you playing on a barbox or 9 footer?
