Jason and I both know that if we all are in the same room and the planets align that we both would love for this to happen. We've just yet to get all the details figured out(whats our spot in pool? whats their spot in poker? where does the luck factor in poker overide the skill factor in pool?) Jason isn't calling anyone out, he's not that crazy! :poke:

Wow...I have to admit I am a bit surpised about this (the 8 ball part)... my 2 cents will be kept to myself on this one.

Since you just got done beating Rod 30-29 shouldn't you be doing the spotting :)? I can see where the grey area lies...sounds like a fun idea but you are right it may not go off.
 
If one team is better at one thing and the other is better at the other thing, BOTH should have spots IMO.

Tom McCluskey can't do much traveling at the moment to come play, I think he asked for someone to come to him to play or whatever. That would be fun too.

Unlike a few of the people in town who can't seem to get staked anymore. Jamie always has someone to stake the right game. He just has noone to play here anymore. So i guess we can start bringing them in on buses.

Im a little confused ? are you asking Jamie to spot Scott ? lol you have to be kidding right ?

Since you all think Jamie is a dog playing 8 ball, and we like the 9 ball. How about they play two 10 ahead sets one 8 and one 9. couple $500 sets, little sat/sun action.

First of all I'm not hanging on any nuts I don't even care to bet on pool. I was only typing cuz I just got off the phone with him. What I will say though is even if anyone wins a 100 sets in a row I still have more money so that's why I can careless on a bet. If I truly like something I'll bet with 2 hands and a shoebox...it's been done already! I been to Big Dogs like once in a month, the barking got old.

The Athens and Jody inference btw ain't called for, they played and lost. Lots of folks lost money on that. Either way, it all falls into the trading money way of gambling here that I am not a fan of and have chosen to remove myself from. Pet lost too a bunch of times, that's the nature of the beast.

Pretty sure you BLEW on Scott Frost and Lutman coming through so you know how it goes, I lost some too. It happens, wouldnt be gambling if you always win. I just happen to roll the dice faster than most.

I didn't name any names. Don't know why you're always draggin them into conversations. And i don't think any of that money got traded. You're always talking about jody/mike/jamie trading money.........wtf are you really talking about ? He beat them $1,000 sets, they win $20 sets and you call it trading money ? I'll take that trade any day, lets you and me try it tomorrow.

Jamie went to Big Shots last night, said there was 3 people there. But he said it was a nice place, with lots of room and nice TV's and what not. Maybe Frost with his connections can get a couple big tables in there then some real shooters can walk in :P

The trading money is I win $300 and the next week lose $300 and so on. That's pretty much what Jody and Jamie have been doing with the 1 hole lately according to Jody anyway, maybe thats not true. Pretty much everyone I know thats been playing here loses and gets it back or wins and gives it away, there are exceptions of course but in general it is pretty true. Yes Jamie won the bigger sets but I still feel like, from what I am told anyway, lifetime it is all pretty even. I haven't had any of the action in a while and dont miss it a bit, I'm up $18k in the last 45 days I think I'll keep doin what I'm doin and not broadcasting it. I spent more money in the club the last couple weeks than I lost all summer, I'm happy.

Big Shots is the chill spot, not action central. Every now and then a guy likes to play with me, I got respect for him. End of the day I realized there is so much more to DSM than I knew. Pool hall barely makes my top 10 fav places to spend my free time. I like to play with the older guys more than anyone else so going after work is the best time for me if I decide to go.

I like to talk about my losses more than the wins, if u werent bringing them into the convo what does "After a summer like you had" mean? I'm just curious. I kinda like where I'm sitting right now, I like this place. I won't get caught up in the pool hall shit storm stuff anymore.
 
Action

In about mid November I am going to be looking to play several cheap sets of $50-100 with whoever wants to play. Time to get back in the box. Whoever is interested post/PM me, with an appropriate spot if agreed on. I will look at the offers...NO ROBBERS PLEASE Lol...looking to get some competition but not get robbed. Nothing is confirmed until agreed by both myself and the person interested in playing...once again we will determine an appropriate spot if applicable. Thanks

Well thats good, you should quit getting so excited about things then. :)

Here is the latest jody/mike/jamie action. last week jamie and jody played 1pkt jamie gives 9-7, $10 a game and loses $40. Last night Jamie/Athens play race to 5, 9 ball on big table for $20, Jamie won.

You made alot of bets this summer, including on yourself right ?
