I was in love with this cue when Scott was using it. After league tonight, ima gonna sleep with it. :P Scored 80-12 tonight. in 8 games. with like 4 ERO's and 3 10-0's. Oh and a 8bb, lol.

We won 10-0 tonight with our normal match and our make up. Props to Gary who won 3 of the 6 we lost to Rex's team, good shooting sir :)

Has Big Dog's ever had a one pocket or 14.1 tournament?

Also how did you do tonight Frost?
 
They tried some $30 one pocket tournaments a couple of years back, every other Saturday. It only lasted a couple of months. I think the handicapping of it made people not want to play.

I would think that one-pocket would be the easiest game to handicap? There are so many manipulations that could be used. Plus if you kept data on finish, head to head; you could come up with a pretty reasonable system, IMO.

I think a one-pocket tournament would be fun. Once a month or something. When they did it ever other saturday, I thought it was too often. JMO.

Also I think that the one coach per game rule for the scotch doubles should go. I think that if you could talk it out it might speed the play up. Instead of me trying to guess what my partner (the better player) wants me to do, he should just be able to tell me. 7 hours to play 5(race to 3) matches?

Btw Frost good shootin with ya, too bad we both started to dog at the same times or we may have gone a bit further.

Yeah I knew we were in trouble when I couldnt feel my face anymore. I was hammered. We cashed good, oh well next time we beat Joey and Eric. Good shooting brother.
 
I'm pretty proud of some of the safeties I pulled off during a couple of the matches.

Frost you going to be at Big Dogs tonight? I want to play some one pocket, since I never have before.
 
Any good action this weekend? What with New Years and I'm sure several resolutions being broke.

How many did they have at the Friday 10 ball? Almost made it out for that one, but caught by the collar on the way out the door...:rolleyes:

May all your birthday wishes come true! Don't forget to do 27 shots and gamble away at least a few hundo to make it a great birthday! That aways makes my birthdays more memorable! IF I can remember them!
 
What are people doing this Saturday? I'd like to have a tourney for my B-Day. Don't really care about the entry fee or really promoting it any other way than word of mouth. I am down for either a Handicapped One Hole tourney, something on the bar box or dare I say it.....

Who's down to come on out and shoot some pool, maybe make some money, and more importantly buy my sexy ass a drink?
 
I'd be down for anything as long as I can afford the entry. Let me know if its one pocket though because I'll need to get some practice in.
