Hey All
I have adjusted the proto type threader to make a 3/8-10 thread also. It does hold any standard .625 arbor like i showed in video. It will thread 18 tpi and just by changing the center pin can now achieve 10 Tpi.
I am making some of these for sale out of delrin just like the one shown in video. Let me know if anyone would like to order.

The tool will be about 30.00 plus shipping and come with both 18 tpi and 10 tpi center pins.
I am checking on affordable options for thread cutters or what some call star cutters that will fit either router and or dremel.I'll let anyone interested know as soon possible.
I will answer any questions asap just drop me a Email, or PM message.
Keep checking back.
Thanks

Heres a new video of the New Tenon Threader in Action.
I am in the process of making these available to anyone who would like one.
More info to come.

Am I correct in thinking if you had an arbor longer than 1", you could make your threads longer than 1" ??

If the tool thread was longer then you could achieve a longer cut on the piece you are apply it to. The tool is not limited to just 5/16 ferrule threads.I have tried it today on a A joint for adjoining a handle and forearm. It cut the male external threads and with a smaller bit also cut the female internals for the cue. It will make any 18 Tpi threads as long as the stock will fit in the lathe and has working room for the router or dremel cutter.
Thanks
Eddie

If you asking about A joint threading for the setup with joints or joint pins. It will take me a little time to come up with a demo of that.
Making threads has to be as close to exact as possible. From the start of the tenon dowel to the depth of cut and the pitch angle of the cut. The other key item is the cutting bit. I am trying to find the most afforable solution for cutters.
You have to know the correct numbers. I have all the info for making the threads and will include that when I sell the tool.
I will post some more demos as soon as I can.
Thanks
Eddie
