Andy Lincoln from the Tiger Tour has been posting about this in the tournament section but I figured it would get more exposure here in the main forum. This is day two and there were some great match-ups in the first round.

Ryan "the Genie man" McCreesh def "Bus driver Ronnie" Ron Williams 125 to 93

Ed Hodan def Mark Ford 125 to 90

Steve Lipsky def Brian O'Donnell 125 to 45

Ed Deska def Joe Cataldi 125 to 52

Mike Davis def Brett Stottlemyer 125 to 61

Danny Harriman def Shaun "get some" Wilkie 125 to 53

Danny Barouty def Steve Lillis 125 to 63

Zion Zvi def "Trenton Marty" Marty Ciccia 125 to 58

The high run posted in the first round today was from Ryan McCreesh who ran 77. Yesterday Mike Davis had the high run with 100... Funny story about that... Mike's opponent fouled and after Mike stood up a guy walked up and asked Mike if that was his chair. Mike's response was "It's ok, I'm not going to need it anymore". Mike then proceeded to run a 100 for the win. :p

The 2nd round match ups will be as follows....

Ryan McCreesh vs Ed Hodan

Steve Lipsky vs Ed Deska

Mike Davis vs Danny Harriman (wish I was there to see this match!)

Danny Barouty vs Zion Zvi

First score coming out of the 2nd round today...

ED Hodan def Ryan "the Genie man" McCreesh 125 to 54

Danny Barouty def Zion Zvi 125 to 117

Steve Lipsky def Ed Deska 125 to 62

Danny Barouty def Danny Harriman 150 to 80

Ed Hodan def Steve Lipsky 150 to 57

Timberly, you missed a good one. :D
Thanks for rubbing it in.

I have to check my calendar tomorrow when I get to work but I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing you guys at the Tiger Tour finale. Glad you had a good time, wish I could've gone. ;)

Brian O'Donnell

Steve Lipsky def Brian O'Donnell 125 to 45

I haven't seen or heard about Brian O'Donnell for quite a while. He used to play on the Planet Pool tour on a regular basis then seemed to disappear a couple of years ago. Any info on where he's been?

He had an accident at work a few years back that really damaged his shoulder and wasn't able to play pool at all, or at least not at the level that he was at. I haven't seen him in quite a while but I guess he's trying to start playing again.

Wait, so does anyone know what the final standings were?

It looked like Ed ( I come out of hibernation to drill people for 3 months every 5 years) Holdan over Barouty-No?

Ed Hodan was the winner, over Barouty.

Steve Lipsky and Danny Harriman finished in 3/4. They did not have a playoff to seperate these two places.

There were some other notable players there, including Steve Lillis, Mike Davis and Ryan McCreesh
Hopefully, Andy will post the entire list of winners.

Sweet. I come up with this stuff all the time, but if only I had the game to make a comment like that and then actually run 100 balls it would come off a lot better!

Steve Lipsky is my horse if he never wins another race...a class act without measure.

Thanks Mr. Daddy! Mighty kind o' ya.

I just want to thank Peter Burrows, Kurt (the owner of Bill and Billie's), Andy Lincoln, and the rest of the staff for putting on such a wonderful event. Everything was done with the utmost of professionalism, and I can speak for all the players in saying we really appreciated it.

We can't wait for next year!

- Steve
