Has any one tried the Ridge back rails in conjunction with Simonis on 7' coin ops? A lot of Bar-owners don't want to buy or lease Diamonds I think this would be a reasonably priced alternative. Any and all feed back much appreciated.

Thanks I'll check into that. I Know they won't be Diamonds just looking at other alternatives.they still won't be Diamond tables but it probably your best route. Did you know Diamond has a new program for bar owners called the " No Excuse Program". you might want to look into it.

Thanks appreciate the input. I know a valley will never be a Diamond just looking to give Bar-Owners another option and increase business a little bit. Nice to hear from someone who has done this.:thumbup:I just completed two 7 ft Valley bar tables with Ridgeback rails and 860 hr. The measure of the difference between before and after is night and day!! When you get into comparing this set up to a diamond your talking apples and oranges. No matter what you do to a Valley it will never compare to a Smart table. The issue is Simonis and Ridge-back give you a GREAT playing Valley.
In my experience, it's a small percentage of the league and tavern players that can distinguish the difference in playability between any bar tables. The issue is, that, the players that can, drive the teams and the play to the establishments offering the best or better equipment.
The Ridge back replacement rails are the best replacement rail period! Simonis is the best cloth. This combination gives you the best playing combination whatever the brand. Diamond smart tables are a completely different type of table and can't be compared to any pay table on the market. (possibly the Gabriel's coin op would be a close second)
