I know that this may not be the right forum, who knows. I just received a cue from cyrex through UPS. I know from reading other threads that people get worried about money and cues since they seem to receive different information from the seller and the shipping company. According to UPS, they had not received the cue for shipment as of this morning. Three hours later, it arrived at my door. I am not sure that this puts anyone at ease, but I just wanted to throw my 2 cents out there. Hopefully people will not be so quick to think ill of others on this forum over a sale.

If you had a tracking #

You could have gone to UPS.com and tracked the package. The last scan on the package uploads in real time by satalite. You would have known it was in your town if it was scanned on a trailer that was unloaded at your local center earlier that day.
Easy stuff. No tracking # no prayer!

i undderstand exactly what your saying. it has happened to me a few times. whehn he tracked it through ups it prob said info recieved for shippment. then him cue was delivered to him.

ive had times where there was no scan and tracking said cue was in horsham. pa. but i had it in my hands.

the worst is when you pay all that extra money for overnight or next day service and it takes longer. Then they make up some lame ass excuse and won't even refund you money. We could not find the address was my favorite. I lived on a major street and they have GPS. LOL

This exact thing happened to me. I bought a cue from a guy in the mid-West. He shipped it at one of these 3rd party shippers via UPS 2 day air. The cue could not be tracked, but he had a receipt and a tracking number. I feared the package was stolen from the shipper's office. It was missing for 6 days, and showed up at my office - never once getting scanned into their system.

I always encourage people to stay calm. I could just tell from the guy's reaction that he was totally sincere. He stayed on top of UPS, stayed in touch with me, and was 100% cooperative. UPS clearly has a glitch in their system.

Wow

WOW!!!!!!!! I can't believe all of these horror stories on shipping with UPS. Every package I've shipped UPS has gone flawlessly, KNOCK ON WOOD.

Best wishes on everyone having a great weekend.

I just ordered a case for my brother from Billiard Warehouse. It came out of Commerce City, Co. to Salina, Ks to Wichita, Ks - arrived last night at 3:44 am. I ordered the case at 2:30 pm Wednesday afternoon.

It will be delivered this morning or afternoon, so 2 day turnaround is pretty good. Actually it got to UPS at 7 pm on Wednesday night, and left a little after 9 pm that night.

gotta love it!

With 15 years of management with FEDEX, surely one of my highlights was getting flagged down on the street by the local operations manager for UPS. He wanted me to ship something FEDEX for him because he "didn't want it to get lost" and he didn't wanted to be seen at our facility.
That told me everything I wanted to know.:D
