Upstate New York pool halls?

Brickhouse Billiards in Syracuse, they have 9' tables there, you were right about changing my cue weight would not help me fix my stroke....sort of, I added weight without knowing how much, I kept adding until it felt good to me, I had never done that before, my stroke is coming along and I don't even know how much my cue weighs !!!!!!!!

Thanks again for the suggestions. At this point it looks like I'll be able to briefly visit Syracuse, Utica and maybe Newburgh. Obviously, I should have scheduled another week. :(
You won't be disappointed with Gallery in Newburgh. Dave is a great guy and he keeps his room in pretty good shape. Week nights are tough to get a table as he has leagues playing out of there Sunday through Thursday. Room opens at noon and there are some pretty good players there including Dave himself. Good luck with your trip.

Still open? I'm so confused
Tried to talk sense into owner of Fire and Ice Billiards at The Locker Room. Build out his room, put in 5 nine foot tables with my money, bunch of freebies from my room and my time. No partnership, no strings. Just repay me when you can, zero intrest. Told him to go with beautiful refurbished gold crowns, installed, new cloth and rubber just $12,500. Gave him my Google and Facebook so he gets anyone looking up a pool hall in Syracuse or Salt City Billiards.

Guy is being intimidated by the APA league operator Greg Cordero and Brick House Billiards owner Brian Holmes. He's down to 10 teams out of 90 in Syracuse. They got him believing APA is the only way to nake money. Furthest thing from the truth. They threatened to pull APA. Talked him into buying 8 diamond barbox for over 50 k" so he will get teams". Then league op is buying brand new Valleys from him for 1k each. Cordero screwed room owners in the all 3 of the counties he ownd and runs like a mob boss.

Pool is dead in Syracuse....just keep on driving Bob.

A while back when I was living in Hamilton a freight train ran off a coal siding near town. One of the cars was carrying stuff from Hershey. Who doesn't like to check out a good wreck? Now I gotta stop by. ;)

Tell Fred to buy Gold Crowns and save his money.
