US Billiards Inc rail cushion size?

Hello from Canada,

I recently just picked up a very old 4x8 coin operated pool table. It was only $40, so I couldn't go wrong. The Marking on it is US BILLIARDS INC NY. It only requires 25 cents, why I am assuming it's old lol.

Two rail cushions are in very poor condition and need to be replaced. I have looked online and it points to the U23 cushion.

I just want to make sure before I order them. Does anyone know of this table and perhaps the cushion size to get?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Here is an additional picture.

There's a reason that company went out of business years ago, and why I did all I could do to replace all them piece of shit tables in Washington state years ago...can you guess what the reason was?;)

Wish I was a mind reader, but no clue....

Think about this for a second, the top rails are held on the table with wood screws ran through the side of the body panels into wood blocks mounted on the bottom of the rails...but nothing holds the rails to the slate...in fact you can pick the rails up off the slate while they're mounted in place just by pulling up a little bit on the cushions:wink:

Isnt that special:eek: Look, you can even see the screw holes for the rails in 1 of the pics. Kinda reminds me of my first table I had for about 2 months, it was a Fischer. The table was such a POS that after I got my GC I did not even try to give it away, I burned it in my burn barrel.

Seriously? Those are pretty dickish replies. The guy just wants some info on how to fix up his table. May not be the best table in the world, but it's HIS. Sheesh.

A lot of people want their pets to come back alive too, but that don't mean it's going to happen. The USB is one of the absolute worst built coin-operated pool tables to ever be put into use in the market place, and one that no matter what you'd LIKE it to play like...never will, no matter how much you work on it....a SEARS built pool table is 10x better, so that's not saying much for the USB table....now is it!

PS. Be CAREFUL with the "dickish" comments buddy!

No buyer's remorse here, right?

Honestly though, that's always an awkward situation when moving a table for someone who just bought it. Most want to ask that question whether it's "Did I get a good deal?" or "Is this a good table?"

You want to be honest, yet tactful because you know everyone who buys a pool table wants to be excited and proud of their new toy. I always hate trying to find a way to tell someone they just bought a POS without hurting their feelings.
